The last time I was here it was typical New England weather.  It rained, it snowed, the sky was cloudy, it was cold, it was warm, and the sun did shine, all in ONE day.  This time the weather was sunny and warm.  Yet not as warm as the Spirit of God which melted hearts and molded lives of young and old a like.

Excellent attendance combined with the prayer meetings each night before the services made everything special.  A group of faithful people, who believed in the power of prayer, met an hour before the meeting each night to pray for the moving of God to be manifested.  How exciting it was to leave the prayer room with an expectation of seeing sinners saved and Christians awakened.  We were not disappointed.  Sunday morning and evening souls were saved and lives touched.

The prayers were not in vain (but then they never are anyway).  Each night brought evidence of revival to the hearts of believers and saving faith to the lost.

At the invitation the three isles were walked by many many folks who felt the need to get alone with God without delay.  Some made public confession of Christ as their Savior, others made things right with family and friends.  Many lingered long and prevailed with tears as the heavy burden of sin was lifted and the joy of salvation restored.

Families prayed together and rejoiced at the altar.  Love ones were saved.  Families were united and years of bitterness, anger and stubbornness were washed away by the Grace of God.  Seemed like no one was in a hurry to leave but were anxious to come back for more of what God was doing.

A special blessing  was hearing of many lasting results of previous meetings I had here over the years.  One young man who struggled with the matter of his soul, was broken by sin and confessed Christ as his savior.  Then a short time later was called home to Glory.  A husband who had no desire to make any open decision for the Lord was melted and yielded to openly confess his walk with the Lord.

And the Lord kept doing it again and again.  Young people paid special and close attention to the preaching and willingly came each night.  Husbands and wives knelt together and dedicated and rededicated their homes to the Lord.   Burdens were lifted, joys received and vision renewed at each service.
